Wi-Fi Hotspots

Did you know that Prince George's Community College has wireless access (Wi-Fi) to the Internet? It is available throughout the main campus and at our Extension Centers. Connecting to the Internet requires a wireless enabled device.

What is Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi is a mechanism where you can wirelessly access the Internet from mobile devices (such as a laptop, video game console, mobile phone, i-Touch, etc). Hotspots are often found near restaurants, train stations, airports, cafes, libraries and other public places. Today, many universities and schools have wireless networks on their campus.

Besides the PGCC main campus, Wi-Fi is located in these areas:

  • John Eager Howard Elementary School
  • Joint Base Andrews Degree Center
  • Laurel College Center
  • Skilled Trades Center
  • University Town Center
  • Westphalia Training Center

Why not take advantage of technology and try-out your mobile devices in any of the above locations. For information on connecting to the wifi, click here.
